In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter published April 22, the 56-year-old comedian revealed he worked as a busboy at Stringfellows in New York until he was 28. Galifianakis, promoting his Netflix docuseries This Is a Gardening Show, said the lifestyle of Hollywood never fit him and that he keeps a distance from the industry. He admitted he isn’t proud of that chapter and noted his breakout came later, with The Hangover in 2009 when he was in his late 30s.
